The"asphalt" lot in front of what was then the museum is actually concrete.
The building originally was a seaplane terminal for the Pan American
Clipper flights to Hawaii and the Orient. 

Larry, Try french fries, they really loosen up the system.

The most recent lot we've surveyed at Alameda is asphalt. It's over by the
U.S.S. Hornet. I contacted the head guy over there --again--two days ago
and, while we don't have a deal yet, he's still positive about the
possibilities. GM is doing a new-car intro there next week.
