I have towed a decent sized boat (maybe 1000#) on a 1000# trailer with
my parents '95 Chevy Blazer (S10 based). The Blazer did a fine job,
but I would want trailer brakes on anything heavier. The with about
250# of toung weight, the Blazer did not squat at all, and the early
4.3L Vortech V-6 had no trouble getting up to highway speed (just
remember NOT to tow with the transmission in Overdrive).
