1974- Fortran WatFiv, Waited in long line to keypunch cards at UMR (Univ. Mo. @ Rolla), read cards in, and the main computer in Columbia did its thing, then some time later in the same day if you were lucky, you'd find out what your first error was. Correct, re-read, find out next error. Repeat as needed... I gave up on computers, never thought they'd catch on! Next computer was 1993 or so, and I've been behind the curve ever since... Charlie |
