Ofr course it won't work out that way. As soon as a class gains national
status, cars will be built for he class. The "catch-all" contingent will be
left behind.
Example: The Prepared and Modified rules in the Twin Cities are different,
and much simpler, than SCCA rules.* Works fine locally. If our rules were
used nationally, these cars would get expensive quickly, and there would be
some interesting protests over interpretation of the prepared rules.
*Stock rules are virtually identical. The only substantial difference in SP
rules I recall offhand is that we allow final-drive-ratio changes in SP.
