I did. The sedans above are large luxury cars in the German
idiom. Somewhat more responsive than contemporary Mercedes
sedans, but much heavier and larger than 2002s. You've already
allowed the most likely BMW to become a "class-killer:" the '02
series. It's by far the lightest, has the shortest wheelbase and
narrowest track, and you can shoehorn a BMW straight six into one
if you're so inclined. If you allow '02s in, excluding any other
BMW of that time period is pointless.

That was based on the original concept of excluding two-seaters.
