I don't feel that this should have contributed to my bearing failure but
logic says it probably did. I admittedly drive my car hard, on the street or
on the course, it sees redline pretty often and sometimes the limiter if I'm
trying to streach out 2nd gear to make the next corner on course. So, my hope
is that my "stress testing" has just revealed a minor flaw and not a normal
condition. One other Neon owner wrote me and had the same bearing go out on
his 97 ACR- was also covered under warranty :)
