Greg,

I have some bad news for you. My brother used to road race a 1600. It
was an 88 Reynard with a motor that was due for a rebuild. He also got
the idea that due to weight and drag differences, the 1600 was as quick
down the straights as a 2000.

Now he drives a 2000 and the 1600's aren't even close on the straights.

Turns out that its not that the 1600's where as quick as the 2000's but
rather that 2000 drivers who can't stay WELL ahead of the 1600s are slow.
