If Scott is reading 5000 rpm on his tach at 60 mph I think the tach is wrong. A 3.89 diffenential ratio could account for about 10% reduction in rpm compared to a 4.22 (roughly) so that would make his rpm 4500 which is still too high. Small tires could affect it some but not very much. My tach read about 5000 at 60 and I had it fixed and I suspect Scott's is also way off. Rob Carpenter |
