There are indeed two different doors and the later ones with crash beams
weigh at LEAST 5 lbs more each. Other differences are the routing of the
inside door release, and more sheet metal in the later door to accomodate
the recessed door pull.

 I have a couple of each out in the garage. I may have to go weigh them for
us.
