Anyone had experience boring TR6 1.75 carbs? I'm going to be the Ginnie pig.
I was thinking of oval boring the carburetor piston on the top side 2 to 3mm.
Doing this I also need to shorten the length of the piston so it goes up
higher.
One step more would be to increase the butter fly area and make larger
butter flies.
Anyone done this?
Is thinner oil in the carb piston better for compitetion?
This is all new to me with cars.
It works on snowmobile engines.
I realize were not comparing apples for apples.
