 Ebay seems intent on driving away most customers.  I think it's time for a new "basic" (like the ORIGINAL Ebay) auction site.
What they've morphed into SUCKS.

Hard for me to understand why they are getting away from PayPal (an eBay company) since they milked even more juice out of the deal with that.
I used to by and sell on eBay all the time.  Now I occasionally buy, and very rarely sell, maybe once or twice a year.

Fisrt off it is ILLEGAL to have any company require your SS number for ident. Even hospitals etc can not legally require you supply that info.
BTDT� way too many times. Your SS is NOT ana 'national ident' number. Bt Fed law it is ONLY a SS usage number.� I work for DoD and they even changed over a couple years back from using your SS to having full up employee numbers.
