I've got a circa 1980 Montgomery Ward 10amp charger that still is my go to
charger for flat batteries.  Not too big and not too small, just right.  No
label on it saying who made it but you can be sure it wasn't Montgomery
Ward.  I did break down and buy a modern jump box for jumping cars with
dead batteries.  Much easier than jumper cables and hauling a spare battery
or maneuvering another car into position.
