I sent mine to Macys Garage and they did an outstanding job.

I agree – like paint, capping is immediately visible and pieces like those S-shaped ones running up from the B-post require great skills to get right. I too have used Larry Learn, but he retired last year. He gave a lot of his stuff to a young guy who has started an upholstery business a few miles away. Larry tells me he is good, but is not familiar with car work. If you do call that number you will get a message saying it has been changed and you will get the number of the young guy.

I outsourced mine. I had never done this before and will likely never do this again so rather than buy several sets of leather so I can do it wrong a few times I figured it was just cheaper and easier to hire it done. I used Larry Learn Upholstery (724 465 8661)

Hey all ~

Has anyone redone their cockpit capping, replacing the vinyl or leather pieces
that go around the TR2/TR3 cockpit?
