[TR] Are water heat hoses and oil pressure lines made the same way

With shelter in place, I'm not venturing out.
I have some 1/2" diameter oil pressure pipe (up to 400psi) Can I substitute
it for a 1/2" water heater pipe? Both pipes look reinforced.
