[TR] Temp Gauge failing?

[CFM-TR]

do you have a thermal sensor gauge? something to determine temp of stat housing?  or a gauge you can put in coolant after you open rad cap (carefully)?  to see if temp gauge reading correct.

assuming not.  I'm stumped.
