[TR] TR4 question

Andrew,

If it is like the TR6 with rubber mounts (TR4 from CT20064?), see this 
reference about installing the mounts:

There was a factory tool, but I had good luck with directions like 
these.  Put the mounts on slightly loose, have a helper turn the 
steering wheel to one extreme and hold it while you tighten the 
compressed mount.  Repeat in the other direction.

If you just put the mounts in and tighten them, it will be very sloppy.  
I upgraded to poly mounts and liked the improvement.

When the car was restored, hopefully they replaced the tie rod ends.  If 
these are worn, that can be a related problem.
