According to Ted Schumacher, you can gain access through the ash tray hole
once you pop out the tray itself.

Everyone,

Thanks everyone for your inputs. I hadn't thought of replacing the line with
a steel braided line. I will order one right away. My old plastic line broke
right at the end of the ferrule. While I am at it I am going to replace the
plastic clutch line with a steel braid line.

Does anyone have any suggestions to getting to the back of the gauge to
connect the new line? This looks as if it will quite the job to get back
there.

Subject: [TR] Oil Pressure Gauge Line

Everyone,

While trying to fix more issues on the car I found that I broke the oil
pressure gauge line right at the fitting in the engine block. Does anyone
know if I can repair the line. Is there a way to remove the broken piece of
line off the fitting and securely installing the line back on the fitting?
