A local guy here (who taught auto body shop at a local high school) said it is common to find deep dents just filled with odds and ends and bondo'd over.  One day he was remove one such patch and a bunch of stuff fell out including a pair of underwear!

I won't mention what car it is, as the person who sold it to me may be on the list.......
 
I have seen a lot, but this one is particularly ingenious:  a hole in a sill repaired by inserting 4 “Brillo” pads and then covering in filler.  Oh, if these cars could just talk !
