[TR] Tr3a High Torque Starter

I have the Gustafson unit (sold by TRF and BPNW) in three cars. Ted (TSI) also sells a great one also. One of the Gustafson units (in my wife’s TR6) failed after a few years but I have not torn into it yet to see why.

I am now in for a penny and a pound 😊 I am thinking while the new radiator is going in ( all wiring is not good ).  To replace the “heavy weight” starter.  What is the collective recommendations on a high torque starter?  I have found a number of ones running in the $195USD range….
