[TR] What "Kit?"was The Gift of a Triumph

I'm very fortunate on this topic of next generation.  Both of my sons, who are in their 20s, are car guys.  They both worked in bike shops as mechanics in high school, and one still does while he's going to college, they've both rebuilt their off road motorcycles, and have grown up around me with my Triumph and a Porsche 356 and 912.   They've both gone on weekend road rallies with me in my TR3 and loved it.  My youngest son is just a few weeks from getting his 1963 Austin Healey Sprite on the road after going thought the entire car over the past year.  My other son has been talking about building a Caterham and I have no doubt when he's in the right time and space, he'll buy the kit and build one.

So the I have no doubt where my cars are going when I can't drive them any longer.  :-)

Someone commented how a "conversion kit" put new pep in their brother's TR3.  What kit does something like that?  I think it was Alex.

Regarding 'the gift of a Triumph- I don't see anything ridiculous about this thread.  I think we all need to think ahead; what can we do to instill our hobbies on to our grandkids' generation?  Personally, I strike-out here and am bankrupt.  Our family legacy included passing on keepsakes like silverware- what does the present generation think about it?... They 'could care less'.  Am I right or wrong?  Somebody help me here...I hate being so negative.
