[TR] Front Sway Bar

The one I bought is used in vintage racing, but it didn't change the basic ride.  So don't be shy going for a big sway bar.  Other than fabricating the bracket, which you may be able to install it to the existing radiator guard bracket or some other way.

This is the website for Greg Solow's Engine room in Santa Cruz.  His shop specializes in Japanese cars, but scroll through the photos on the home page and you'll see there is a photo of a pretty popular blue Morgan, Baby Doll, that races in Vintage races, and you'll see Greg in a photo with a TR3 engine, and I think he personally races a TR3 or TR4 and has for many years, so he knows these cars.

TR3 or TR4, you want a front sway bar. Lots of it. These cars lift the back
wheel when cornering. Front bar helps keep that tire down on the road so you
can keep some power on. 

This wheel lift is made worse when the axle on the inside hits the frame.
This is true of most underslung cars.

I'm definitely "pro".

However, AFAIK, the available parts only fit TR3A (widemouth), as they
bolt into the later style frame extensions. Building mounts for my
TR3 is on the todo list.

Also, the level of benefit probably depends on what tires (and wheels)
you are running. I suspect the bar won't help as much if you're still
running skinny bias ply tires. (I use 205/55-15 radials on 5.5"
rims.)
