Frank,
I have been using DOT5 from the TRF in my 63 TR4 ever since its rebuild
over 12 years ago. No problems what so ever. Also using DOT5 on my 72
TR6. But still using DOT4 on my 58 3. All have original components, just
rebuilt with new seals. Sans the brake light switch on the 3 and 4. All
I remember is blowing them out with alcohol before refit.
