[TR] TR4 + alternator + headers

I purchased one of those mini alternators and it's going to fit very
nicely. The trouble is I can't get the pulley off.  Is it a reverse thread?
If not, I'm certain I'm wrenching correctly....the generator pulley came
off promptly the same way.
What's the trick here?
