[TR] top cover detent plugs

I was able to extract the plugs with a method suggested by Randall. (Using
a tap and making threads in them and then pull them out)
Can I reuse them and if so, should I consider using a bit of lock tite?

The Stag ROM says to shim or grind the springs so that the pull off
selector shaft load is xx kg. Is this critical?

I suppose if I thread the hole and make a threaded plug with a bolt, I
could adjust the depth of the plug to adjust the load.
