[TR] TR3 Steering wheel question

i have a smaller wood rim wheel.its a little heavy when not moving or just pulling away. but once in motion i find it OKfrank

The two TR3s I have kept for myself both have rack and pinion steering and 14’ steering wheels.  I am currently restoring another small-mouth and need a steering wheel.  The car has the original steering box.  Question:  does anyone have experience using a smaller wheel with a steering box?  Or is the steering just too heavy?
