Some baby powder is corn starch, some is talc.  Probably doesn't matter to
the baby but I only use talc when mounting tubes.

Also important (if the shop is unfamiliar with the process) is to inflate
the tire/ tube and then deflate (I do it quickly with the valve core out)
before inflating the final time.  Less chance of a pinched tube.

As an alternative to tubes, it is practical to seal the spokes.   I use
3M5200 and top it with metal tape.
