Probably doesn't matter to the baby but I only use talc when mounting tubes.</div><div><br></div><div>Also important (if the shop is unfamiliar with the process) is to inflate the tire/ tube and then deflate (I do it quickly with the valve core out) before inflating the final time. Less chance of a pinched tube.</div><div><br></div><div>As an alternative to tubes, it is practical to seal the spokes.
