[TR] TR4A original battery cables?

Hey Guys,
I know a gentleman restoring a TR4A.  He wants it to be absolutely correct as
original.  I am at a loss to help with the battery leads.  I don't have one of
those and therefore pretty weak on what it should be.  It is I believe a
negative ground car.  He is telling me he has an original neg cable with the
black cover in great condition.  I would love to have one for the 63 TR4 but I
am going to say that is not going to be right for a 4A.  Can anyone help?  He
is very seriously concerned that some rogue judge is not going to like it if
it is not right. I know my 68/70 GT6+ has a red positive cable cover, is that
what a 4A should have?
