[TR] 3 brake pedal springs

Could it be stopping because the brakes are applied?

It should take practically nothing to move the pedal with it disconnected
... sounds to me as though the pivot pin inside the pedal assembly has
gotten rusty in spite of the "adequate lube".  I would pull it apart
(again).
