[TR] Differential Problem?

I am having a problem with my newly redone TR3A.  It has been a problem
going into reverse. When I first shift into  reverse it is stuck, and then
lets loose.

I jacked it up today and discovered that the rear wheels when one is rotated
by hand the opposite wheel goes in the opposite direction. It appears that
when I shift from a forward gear to reverse that one of the wheels stays in
forward until it is "unlocked"

 

Have you ever encountered this?
