[Tigers] Brake Issue

OK- just saw this note. If you have replaced your flex hoses, then it is probably back to looking at your master cylinder.

Please be aware that most master cylinders have an internal “hold off” check valve to provide a bit of residual pressure to keep the seals in drum brake slave cylinders from leaking. Be certain you do not have that type of master cylinder if you have disc brakes.

I have brand new rubber hoses that I got from Sunbeam Specialties last week.

I had this problem on two different cars. The cause was old flexible hydraulic hoses that had deteriorated inside.
I changed them and the problem was resolved.

I disconnected the brake line from the master cylinder and put a short line on it that feeds back into the master cylinder reservoir so I could bleed any air out of it. That all seems to work okay.
