Busy weekend with 3 BtiLatest steps.
Jacked up front of car.Drained radiator fluid.Removed top hose 3/4" radiator hose restrictor washer.Removed 160 degree thermostat - so this test with no thermostat
Topped up radiator still jacked up.Changed to 13lb radiator capCranked up car at idle - still goes to 210 with hood up in 14 minutes- no change.

Water hose connections:Radiator cap in center of radiator - remember recored brass radiator with top and bottom tanks about 5" higher more capacity.Drivers side (inlet from thermostat housing) is 5" left towards drivers fender on radiator - top hoseTop water pump outlet ~ 90 degree hose (small) to thermostat housing.Bottom water pump outlet goes to passenger side heater core.Drivers side heater core hose goes to top on heater valve - currently plugged due to 3 leaking valves.Bottom or side outlet of heater valve  attaches to the top of the manifold behind the distributor.

Tested 160 degree thermostat on stove - opened at 165 - all open at 175Tested 180 degree thermostat on stove - opened at 180 - all open at 190Drilled 1/8" hole in 180 to bleed air/steam - hopefullyWill reinstall 160 degree thermostat with 1/8" hole drilled - when cools off

Borrowed a dial back timing light.  Vac adv off and plugged.    14 degrees at 950 rpm's    25 degrees at 1500 rpm's    27 degrees at 2000 rpm's    25 degrees at 2500 rpm's    30 degrees at 3000 rpm'sTiger fixer Bill Martin believes this is a little slow and should be 32 - 34 degrees all in at 2400 rpms.  Only way to correct is to change the weights in the distributor - Bill does not like distributors with vac adj. - hope this is OK to report.  Once get timing all in at 32 - 34 degrees, Bill's next step is dial in carburetor with different carburetor jetting.

Vac adv on and connected16 degrees at 950 rpm's27 degrees at 1500 rpm'sdegrees at 2000 rpm's - gray matter issue - did not write down.
53 degrees at 2500 rpm's57 degrees at 3000 rpm's
Will try and test drive with vac adv pulled from carb and plugged and carb vacumn plugged and see what happens.
Thank YouJoel Martin
