You will be OK with stock Ford chrome valve covers to about 1967, the 302 1968 valve covers are a little taller and have a more square side. The HiPo 65-67 Ford chrome covers are the same as the Tiger.
I put the later taller 1968 covers on a Tiger without clearance problems, but the bolts under the firewall lip are harder to get to.

Randy,
Just a word of caution, to get clearance to fit the valve covers under the firewall Tiger valve covers are of a lower profile than standard Ford valve covers. Make sure that your shiny new replacement valve covers will fit. You might find that rechroming your original valve covers is the easier option. As to removing the sticker, I don't have specific experience with removing the sticker but most adhesives can be removed with either gasoline or lacquer thinner. Try soaking the valve cover in both. The sticker is metallic so you can't hurt it.

Has anyone tried to remove the SUNBEAM LTD sticker on the chrome valve cover without damaging the sticker? I would like to replace my corroded valve covers with shiny new chrome covers, but I would prefer to reuse the existing SUNBEAM sticker if that is possible.
Thanks,Randy Antosiak
