[Tigers] Are We Online?

Interesting experiences. I purchased 2 Dell XPS 27 all in one computers this
December and January. Both hade Win 8.0 installed but with an upgrade to
8.1. I upgraded to that and have never looked back! I have 3 other desk
tops and two laptops with Win XP Pro installed and I would not go back to
those. I have found no programs that will not install or run. Yeah,
sometimes it is quirky but I am getting the hang of it. I bought them with
MS Office 2013 installed (not the rental version, though), because I wanted
the maturity of Office Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word programs. The
only issues I had were the migration of the address books from my old
computers to these new ones. I have had no bad experiences with Win 8.1.

I think I'm with Mark here, but the press says they're "fixing" Windows8. I
solved my problems when Windows 7 came out and Mr. Softy said I had to
re-install everything from my XP machines or buy Windows Vista (a well
documented pig of an O/S.) I bought an Apple. Now I have 2, and I'm happy
with them. Nothing is perfect in computing, but by comparison OSX is
wonderful!
