Well said Bugz:

I agree.

The problem is that electronic (social) media has de-personalized 
communication to the point that
many of us compose knee-jerk, spur of the moment, inappropriate comments and 
hit the send button, transporting thoughts that most of us would never 
expose to anyone face to face in civil society.

If we would only pause for a second and consider the effect these words will 
have on the reader, I'm sure
this problem would be greatly mitigated.

Pause and think before you send. We'll all have a more pleasant experience 
on this List.
