I had a friend with a 215 in a Bugeye a long time ago... It ran like stink
but did not handle well. My bro-in-law had a late model Midget with a Ford
302 in it. Same thing. The primary drawbacks are the cooling issues and
resultant heat issues in the passenger area, the tranny tunnel needs to be
widened to accept something that will handle the engine, and a stronger rear
end is also part of the equation.
