[Spridgets] MGB GT Rover V8 Question

That's a pretty good memory, Herb. Actually, it was 61 to 63. The Olds was
the one with a turbo and it only added 15 hp. Along with the Buick 300
big-valve heads, the Buick 300 crank can be machined to work in the 215 and
will stroke it from 2.8 to 3.4 inches or 262 cubes.
I just bought a package deal of 3 AL V-8s and 2 Rover 5-speeds along with a
300 crank and 300 heads and a bunch of other extras -- complete stainless
exhaust, forged pistons, etc. I bought it to put in my wife's MGB. Since I
have extras, does anybody know whether these can be fitted into a Spridget?
I don't recall hearing of anybody doing it.

If I remember correctly; 60-63 B.(uick) O.(ldsmobile) P(ontiac).
A number of variants used, including a turbo-charged version.
Buick 300 heads fit, providing larger valves.
Same engine as my TR8.
Herb
