[Spridgets] Vindication in the NY Times!

I consider it unfortunate.

The topic of the demise of shop classes nationwide has been covered in
Woodshop News. The shops can be expensive to outfit and maintain and as this
article states has fallen out-of-favor. In addition, some of their benefits
are not immediately realized.

It's really a shame.

My own love of woodworking began in an Industrial Arts class in 8th grade and
continues to this day.

But craftsman are not respected and appreciated in this world of foam crown
molding, plastic siding, and throw-away construction.
