Passing in a Spridget is STILL a skill as far as I am concerned.
I run about 20 miles on a back twisty highway, when I go to work. One lane
each way, lots of tractors and such, as well as the plethora of drivers that
have difficulty understanding the meaning of the speed limit sign. 70 means
SEVENTY FIVE!!!
I just watch the oncoming traffic, and hang back about 50 yards off the car
in front. Once I gauge the speed of the oncoming car, I floor the Sprite (I
don't drive it every day, mind you) and if I have calculated correctly, I am
just about on the bumper of the car ahead of me, when the other car passes.
Hit the other lane, FLY past the slow driver, and whip back in front of him.
Proceed on at a mere 5 mph over the posted limit, and all is well.
This really pisses off "Bubba" in his pick up truck. They just can't handle
a car small enough to fit in the bed of their truck, flying by, and leaving
them behind.
I like to refer to it as "automotive emasculation". And when you do it with
a Spridget, it REALLY HURTS!!!

LOL
