[Spridgets] Odd fuel pump question

The electric fuel pump should stop making the hammer sound after a few
seconds. Ours stops way when the fuel bowls are full and the floats close
the fuel flow. So something isn't right. Air maybe. Check your fuel pressure
if you have a way. Some of the emissions cars have fuel recirculation
circuits. ...bill in Oregon

I thought so too so I cleaned them out. I do not have any gas leaks now,
but the pump never stops like it did before.

I'm just worried something will blow while driving it. I was amazed how
much gas pours out when it has no where to go anymore...

I recall someone saying something about it sucking air somewhere?

Chris
