This is not an elegant solution, but when you are ready to print from the Internet, select "print to PDF" as the printer selection. If that works, you could they just reset the printer to your normal printer and then print the local PDF file.

Can you print a web page wirelessly from another device? Any way you can run an ethernet cable from the computer directly to the printer? I had a problem with a Brother 2170. Ended up calling Brother T/S and they walked me through a hard reset, which finally worked. Does that MFC have a USB port? You might try that, too, if it's available.

Need some help from the brain trust here... I've hit a wall
Dell desktop computer with Brother mfc-l2717dw laser printer
Will print perfectly from word…excel… anything from desktop
Will not print from internet
I’ve done the following
Powered everything including router off and back on in sequence
Pc finds printer on wifi … both pc and printer are on same 2.4 node/network
Reloaded software/firmware/reset printer to factory default and set up everything again
Router recognizes printer and pc….. no error messages or codes shown when trying to do internet print
Just a generic message that says “something went wrong when you tried to print…check your printer.
Printer will print self test internally and from pc
Spent two hours with Rahish and his family in the background trying all of the above again till he dumped me on the router provider (netgear orbi mesh) Orbi warranty expired and they wanted 99 bucks to trouble shoot it….
I’m looking for solutions, experiences and even wild ass guesses at this point.
Thanks
john
