I used to be the same way preferring wired but they are phasing out jacks on newer equipment?!?I made the jump to wireless and am not looking back as they are great.The Bose bluetooth headset I use when flying works great and it is easy to switch between music or to take a call. My non aviation Sony bluetooth headphones were cheaper and even more advanced - I am still figuring out their impressive capabilities. I am not a big bud person but many of my friends are and it sounds like the capabilities are very comparable.

.....OT ask but you all have more knowledge than anyone else I can ask.  I need noise cancelling head phones for an upcoming flight.  I prefer wired for some fool reason ( call me old and old school ) but I would consider wireless. I did some google searching but prefer, again, as I've asked before on other topics, firsthand knowledge.  My fogged brain thinks I've asked about this topic before but I cannot find any email proof of this.  Thanks alla foggy old man
