Hmm, 335 bhp from a 285 ci DOHC all aluminum engine. I was going to say "no", but with an engine that highly tuned, why take the chance? I know MB has had problems in the past with part-throttle knock causing damage. Might be you'd never have a problem, but they must've had some reason for being so emphatic about using premium fuel. -- Randall
