[Mini] Ancient list window decal. A small piece of history.

Hi,

The 948cc Diesel was created for a potential British Post order for Diesel
Morris Minor vans.

When the Mini tractor was designed I suppose it was logical that the Diesel
engines were used. Although a petrol A-series version of the same tractor
was also available.

The tractor was designed by the same person who created the very popular
"Grey Fergie" Massey-Ferguson model. It is a compact little thing, but it
works well. I've actually used it quite a bit for working around on my
property.

They do not come up for sale often. This one popped up on eBay two years
ago and I sniped it at the last minute for $1525 AU, around 860 GBP. Then
I had to make a 1200 mile round trip in one weekend to collect it with my
trailer. I'm not sure how it ended up in Australia, as they don't seem to
have been sold here. Mine seems to have come from the UK, as there is a UK
size numberplate plinth on the front and a tax disc holder on the dash. UK
Imports just seem to find me! Even my daily Land Rover was sold new in the
UK.

Cheers,
