[Mgs] Running hot

[Robert's New iPad]

    Mine has metal inserts through which the securing bolts pass.   Is that indicative of the later fans?
    And I thought my plastic fan was quieter—not by db measurement, just by ear.  
    The metal fan is hanging, decoratively, in my garage.
