You miss the point.  It's because the sat nav told them to turn that they 
did, regardless of the fact that there was clearly a No Entry sign staring 
them in the face.  Even worse is using 'The sat nav told me to turn' as a 
defence!  'Engage sat nav, disengage brain'.
