Heck, I do that stuff all the time on the salt in my Corvette and it still
rolls real good.... to a dead stop.

If the failure is in the driveline downstream of the clutch it seems obvious
the clutch won't make a difference. So the lockup would have to be in the
engine, like a broken rod, broken crank, a valve that breaks and falls into
cylinder, ... mjb. _______________________________________________
