In "The Healey Book" by Bill Emerson, he discusses custom bodies fitted
to Healey chassis and drive train, pages 30 - 35. To quote:
"Ernst & Fritz Beutler, of Carroserie, Thun, Switzerland produced a
number of cars on Healey chassis between 1947 and 1952. Tow examples
are shown, a coupe and a convertible. The convertible was first shown
in the 1949 Geneva Auto Show. The date of the manufacture for the coupe
is unknown but its styling is still beautiful after many years.
Comparing the two cars, one can see the similarity in the wings and the
conservative use of chrome to accent the body lines. Both cars utilized
the Healey grille and hubcaps; all other parts of the body were
constructed in the Beutler factory in Switzerland." The book has a B&W
photo of each car.
