[Healeys] Radiator Shovel, continued

An inch is way to much space. The air will largely escape between core 
and cowling. The fan shown should have been fitted straight to the core 
without any space between core and cowling. Problem is there is some 
bracing in the way so to be effective fitting the fan should be fitted 
as a puller behind the radiator, the bracing should be modified or a 
smaller fan should be fitted to fit within the bracing. Perhaps there is 
(can be made?) enough space between core and bracing to fit a fan behind 
the bracing?
