Thanks Randy, good lesson in filter quality.  Wish he had done some test on the filtration efficiency of the filter material.  It is not just the total surface area, but the porosity of the material and how small a particle it would filter out.

Excellent video on comparing oil filters. (Skip Ad) Read something very similar years ago and switched to NAPA Gold at that point. Seems to still hold true.
